2022 Chevy Silverado
The all new 2022 Chevy Silverado lineup is changing inside and out. They have engineered new and improving parts to make their trucks better than before.
2022 Chevy Silverado Exterior
The exterior has some changes to its exterior look for the 2022 Chevy Silverado. For models LT and higher, they have programmed daytime running lamps to have a sequence when getting in the vehicle. They have also given the fog lamps a more contemporary look. An improved Chevy Colorado ZR2 is advancing by the front bumper to a 31 degree angle for maximum clearance. They also created a grill that allows for more air flow and for increased engine cooling.
2022 Chevy Silverado Interior
The interior has some big changes made to it. The LT Silverado trim and above now comes equipped with a electronic gear shifter, a 13.4 inch diagonal touch screen monitor in the center dash making it one of the widest screens in a truck, and a 12.3 inch diagonal electronic display cluster! They also have brought a new display sequence when entering the vehicle to increase User Experience.
2022 Chevy Silverado Technology
As we keep advancing in the automotive industry, the technology keep improving. The new technology in the 2022 Silverado includes, advanced Trailering systems, a hands-free driving experience, and safety assist features. The trailering systems has a checklist that allows the user to properly hook up a trailer, many different enhanced camera views, and blind spot recognition that includes areas next to the trailer.
2022 Chevy Silverado Engine
The engines included in the Chevy truck line are 3.0L I-6 Turbo-Diesel/10 Speed, 2.7L High-Output/8 Speed, 5.3L V-8/8 Speed, 5.3L V-8/10 Speed, and the 6.2L V-8/10 Speed. The biggest improvement is to the 2.7L High-Output engine. The improvement came from the crank that they stiffened by 30%. That includes steel compression ring supported by cast in place ring carrier to help this engine have a lot of torque at low RPMs. They also added 1 KG of aluminum to the block making it tougher and more durable for the user’s needs.

School Buses Back to School
We want to make sure every kid that rides a bus makes it to and from school safely. School Buses will be back on the road so here is what you need to if you ever come across one.
School Buses on a 2 Lane Highway
If you approach School Buses with the flashing stop sign out must stop! This is true for 90% of the situations that the average driver encounters. It does not matter if the vehicle is passing in the other lane or approaching the bus from behind. If the stop light is out that means there are children boarding or departing so they will be walking near the front of the bus.
2-Lane Highway with a Center Turn Lane
If the two lane highway has a center turn lane every vehicle approaching must stop. There is still a risk that the child needs to get across that road, or make mistakenly walk the wrong way off the bus. So make sure you stop whether approaching from behind or passing by it in the other lane.
4-Lane Highway
When it comes to 4 lane highways, it is different. The 4-lane highway with or without a center lane applies the same rules. If approaching the bus from the rear, you have to stop. If you are heading in the opposite direction of the bus in a 4-Lane highway you are able to continue your travel. School bus drivers have rules for letting the kids of the bus on 4-Lane highways so if you’re coming up to the bus from the front you are able to continue travel.

Basic Vehicle Safety
The most basic form of vehicle safety is to make sure the vehicle is up to date on its services. These services include tires, oil, and brakes. Some other services that need to be checked coming into the rain and thunderstorm season is, making sure the wipers aren’t streaking across the windshield. Making sure that your vision is not impaired is very important, if you can’t see that is not safe! The windshield wipers is one of the parts that can be overlooked, but they are there for a reason and if they don’t work right it may cause problems.
Coming out of the winter months, tires can become worn or that frigid cold could have caused some problems. The tire pressure sensor could have gone bad so don’t get stranded on the side of the road in the heat! The slick, sandy, covered in snow, and salted roads can be stressful on the tires too. 4WD vs. AWD
Are having a hard time deciding if 4WD vs. AWD is better for your situation? Here are some helpful facts about the differences between 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicles and All-Wheel Drive(AWD) vehicles.
What is the major difference?
The major difference between 4WD and AWD is that with 4WD you will have to decide when the appropriate time to engage the 4WD is best. With AWD and 4WD, there are two different types you should be aware of. One is Full-Time and the other is Part-Time. They mean exactly what they say, with Full-Time, its engaged all the time in the front and rear axels. Part-Time will be in engaged in in RWD or FWD until the sensors detect that the road conditions are not normal or the mode is switched into full by a dial, lever, or button.
Which one is right for you?
This is a question that is going to be based on where you live and what the weather is like. Although, if you live in a place where inclement whether is common either of these options will do that trick. If you’re looking for a vehicle that you intentionally want to take off-roading then 4WD is going to be better for you. You will have the ability to activate it on your own maximizing your use of the 4WD. For your typical car that stays on the roads, AWD might be a better option considering if the weather changes while on the road the vehicle will automatically make that transition for you.

What does it get for gas mileage?
If you plan on buying a truck for gas mileage then this is not the unit for you. This is a high performance truck and you should expect to get anywhere in between 10-14 mpg. You will definitely be a friendly face to gas stations! When looking at this truck it is pure performance, although 10-14mpg doesn’t look too bad when you’re unleashing 702 hp! If you are using this to go off-road and see what all this truck can do, I would expect to see the mpg’s drop. There will be a lot of go and stop with off-roading causing you to get on the gas pedal more often.
What does it cost?
The burning question that everyone wants to know with this unit. Being so special and made with performance parts, it is not going to be out of reason to see this truck reach higher numbers. The starting point for MSRP is $70,000 with that will be a basic version of the TRX, but you can expect them to reach well into the 80s and 90s. There is a chance you could get some built out to reach 6 figures. Although this is a really expensive truck, you’re getting a very special one.
